April Menus
I always have ambitious plans to rummage through my ridiculously appropriately large cookbook collection and choose exciting new recipes to try. Instead, I scrabble together a plan from the old tried-and-true faithful few.
I had dental work this week, complicated by some kind of reaction to the anesthetic shots that left me very ill, indeed. (Believe me, you don’t want any details!) I’ve been fairly useless this week, so my grand ideas of spicing up the monthly menus…well, those ideas were scuppered. Perhaps I’ll get adventurous and switch things up a bit as the month goes along, but for here and now….enough is as good as a feast.
Without further ado, here are my April Menu plans.

A funny dental experience that happened to me- they gave me my numbing injections and all of a sudden my right side started to fall out of the chair! I kept pulling my leg and arm back up and they kept uncontrollably falling back off! I was scared to pieces! The dentist said every now an then the medication causes this….luckily Bill drove me to the dentist! All I could do was wait for the drug to get out of my system 😬
Wow! That is scary. Drugs are more powerful than we think.
