The Spiral Bible is a new concept that could be a real bonus in your personal Bible study. The spiral binding allows the Bible to lay flat when opened, which makes taking notes and marking your Bible so much easier.
Do your highlighters and pens bleed through your Bible pages? This is not an issue with the thicker, sturdier Spiral Bible pages. I also sometimes struggle with crinkling and tearing of my thin Bible pages, but these pages are thick enough that this is not an issue.
If your eyes are–ahem–mature, you may be struggling to read small print. Yes, I struggle too! However, the print is large and dark in this Bible, which I greatly appreciate. There is another version that has even larger print, although I find the regular-sized print easily readable.
Perhaps like me, you enjoy taking copious notes in you Bible and marking it up with symbols and cross-references. One of my favorite things about this Bible is the lined space for note-taking. Each page has a large margin with ample space, plus there is space at the beginning and ending of each book of the Bible. Here’s an image from the book of James, where I’ve been taking sermon notes.
The Spiral Bible comes in different Bible versions and has a variety of colorful covers. I really like the cheery flowers on mine. This would be a great holiday, birthday, or baptism gift!
