When I write about hospitality, I always seem to strike a chord. I see that this topic brings up a lot of strong emotions: some good, some not so good. Many people feel overwhelmed, ill-equipped, and fearful. (See Hospitality posts here.)

What if hospitality is less Martha Stewart and more just…welcoming others into our life?

Instead of feeling you must cook your best meal and put out the china, invite someone over and order a pizza. (Although I find it fun to use all the pretty dishes! So do that if that’s how you roll!)
