Food Can Fix It Challenge
Last week I introduced the 21 Day Food Can Fix It Healthy Eating Challenge. Who’s ready? Let’s do this!
I realize that we’re beginning this challenge the day after Halloween, and your home may be full of tempting candy. If you have children, you probably shouldn’t throw away their candy (just saying). Perhaps you can ask them to hide it from you. If you have oodles of leftover candy, find somewhere to donate it! Take it to a homeless shelter or soup kitchen, a retirement or nursing home. Operation Gratitude sends care packages to US troops stationed overseas and welcomes donations of candy. Take the treats to your local Ronald McDonald House for severely ill children and their families. Or find a local dentist participating in the Halloween Candy Buy Back Program. Remove irresistible temptation!
I’m so excited to make some changes to improve my health, and I think the encouragement and accountability of a group will make my efforts more successful and fun! If you still need to order your book, please go through this Amazon affiliate link to order Food Can Fix It by Dr. Mehmet Oz.
We’re going to be eating real food, close to its natural unprocessed state. Each Wednesday at noon central time, I’ll be hosting a Facebook Live over at Kim Turner McCulley, Writer. Please come join the chat! I’m excited to meet everyone and hear your motivations, your progress, and your challenges.
Remind yourself: it’s only three weeks. Twenty-one days.
I can do anything for only twenty-one days. Right?
Of course, once we get some momentum it will be easier to continue making good choices. Twenty-one days filled with good choices builds a great platform for new permanent habits.
Here. We. Go! Let’s take charge of our health!!
